About Silent Night

Founder Jack Roberts, served an active duty career in the U.S. Air Force. Jack culminated his career as a Lieutenant Colonel in charge of Education and Training at the National Guard Bureau. After retirement, Jack worked with the U.S. Forest Service and while at a fire camp, noticed a problem with the lighting at the camp – people were yelling to have a conversation. Jack thought there has to be a better way to provide light. Jack saw the same lights at a pumpkin patch and later at a concert venue. Again, Jack thought there has to be a better way.

The Silent Night approach has been to find a way to provide as much usable light as possible with as little energy consumption as possible. With over 20 prototypes and hundreds of hours of testing, the Silent Night, Inc. team came up with the Silent Night 360 Light. The U.S. Patent Office granted Jack a provisional patent for the Silent Night 360 Light and the Silent Night Stadium Light. The Silent Night 360 Light emits 2,500 lumens with less than 3 AMPS of power draw and the five direction light head with the optimal angle maximizes lux (usable light).

As a veteran owned small business, Jack’s approach has been to build as much of the product in the U.S. as possible. Our circuit boards are produced in the U.S. and are ITAR compliant. Though not always easy, and certainly not always the cheapest, we are proud to say that over 90% of the parts and labor are from the U.S. – making our product American made with pride!
